The Jeffer is now one of only 3 drivers at the historic Orange County Fair Speedway to notch 50 career big block modified wins! The Jeffer took advantage of a late race restart to power to the lead and then cruised on for his 50th modified and 71st total victory at “The Hard Clay!” Thank you to everyone who made this win possible and especially to our car owner Ronnie Roberts!
After rebounding from last to 6th in 10 laps after a right rear flat tire on lap 38 of 50, The Jeffer cut down another tire, this time with only 2 laps to go. What would have been a strong start to the Short Track Super Series, turned in to a disappointing outing aboard the Roberts Racing 14h. A scoring blunder recorded The Jeffer as 2 laps down, however, the team is challenging… Read More
Now that the season is officially over, we’d like to thank everyone who made 2015 both a possibility and a great success. We’re grateful for the opportunity to drive fast race cars and to be surrounded by even better people. If we keep winning, we’ll keep coming back… So see you again in 2016. Thank you again.
Despite the wild nature of Friday night’s racing events at Accord, The Jeffer steered the Schrufer Racing 2a from 14th to finish 4th. The Jeffer now leads the Championship Point Standings at the Accord Speedway. OCFS held “Twin 20s” on Saturday night and The Jeffer faired well in each feature. The first feature produced a 4th place finish while the second feature resulted in a 6th place effort. The big block modifieds are… Read More
On Friday night, The Jeffer continued his early season success at the Ulster County Bullring in Accord, driving the Academy Transmissions 2a to a 3rd place finish. Jeff Jr., who was making his 2nd… Read More
From blown trailer tires to a blown engine, just nothing seemed to go our way from day 1 during our Florida trip. It took a total team effort just to get the 14H back on the track (after blowing the engine in time trials on Wednesday) for the final 2 nights of the DIRTCar Nationals at Volusia, including a 15 hour, 1100 mile round trip to pickup a spare engine. We gave… Read More

On the way down, the team will take a detour to participate in the first ever big block modified race in Georgia’s Golden Isles Speedway on Sunday, February 15th. The big block modifieds hit the track at Volusia for 4 nights, Wednesday the… Read More
With the postponement of Accord Speedway’s “Gobbler” until April 2015, the 2014 racing season has officially come to a close. 2014 was an exciting year with a lot of memories and fun times for the 2a and 14H racing teams. We are very thankful to have the opportunity to drive fast race cars for such great people. Racing truly has no off-season and we are already hard at work to make 2015 the most… Read More
As the saying goes, it’s not how you start, it’s how you finish. There aren’t many drivers in dirt racing that are as smooth and patient as Jeff Heotzler. Those traits were once again on display during the 53rd running of the Eastern States Weekend at the historic Orange County Fair Speedway over the weekend. On Saturday night, The Jeffer carefully navigated his way though the field from his 26th starting position en route… Read More
