1985: The Jeffer’s run from 1983-1986 at the Accord Speedway can be summed up in one word – domination. Arguably the most impressive of those years was 1985. The Jeffer captured 17 out of 21 feature events that year in “Hazel” and quite possibly could have went undefeated if it wasn’t for some bad luck. Those 4 seasons at Accord produced 4 Championships and an astonishing 44 wins. After the 1986 season, The Jeffer left weekly competition to pursue his big block modified career, but he would return nearly 30 years later…
